Social Science Fiction means extrapolation of some minor current social trend or phenomenon into a near future scenario, presented as speculative esthetics. Speculative Esthetics are meant as a tool for opening up thinking about and imagining possible future alternatives. 2 Or 3 - installation (archive, documents) 2 Or 3: The Standards - installation (standards/flags, photos) 2 Or 3: The Music - installation (recordings, songbook) ****************************************************** 2 Or 3 Archive of documents and folders for presentation, plus filmed interviews. Archive contains a mapping and presentation of organizations for volunteer social workers in Gothenburg (local, often smallscale, NGO's and CSO's).

Two art projects making esthetic comparisons between the people's movements of the last century and the volunteer social workers of today. Speculative esthetics based on the presentation material of the archive. 2 Or 3: The Standards - installation (standards/flags, photos) 2 Or 3: The Music - installation (recordings, songbook) ****************************************************** 2 Or 3: The Standards The Standards includes flags/standards made for the new associations, based on examples from the older movements. Texts on the standards are taken from the presentation material in the archive. Sewing contributed by the organizations (sewing documented as photographs).

Recorded singing and instrumental contributions from the organizations.
